There is a place in our lives that only the Creator is able to completely fill. The search for peace, clarity, and a knowledge of the One who created us has been one of life's greatest quests that goes back to the beginning of humanity. Countless stories have been written about The Search.
Before a book was written, the Creator existed and there were those who embarked upon a journey to find the One who created all they saw. Yahuah is capable of being found by those who sincerely seek after Him with everything they are and everything they have. The Creator isn't limited to a book that contains stories of others' experiences while on their personal search. The Scriptures or Bible, as we know it, did not exist in the days of Nuach (Noah), Abraham, or Mashah (Moses). People who wanted to know the Creator had to search for Him. Yahuah can be very real and personal in our lives if we search for Him as one searching for hidden treasures.
Our desire is to know Yahuah by seeking Him with the entire mind, all of our strength, and by keeping His instructions. Learning His instructions is done by taking The Book of the Law - which contains the instructions on how Yahuah's people are to live and honor Him and how they are to live peaceably with one another - in its original language and gaining a proper understanding of it. The same is done with taking the Bible (Scriptures) and returning to it in its original language, setting, and context. The Bible is a compilation of history, letters, prophecies and poetry written by a particular people about a particular people. These people are the descendants of Ya'aqub - (Jacob). This lineage of people are of Abry Shamitic origin through Abar (Eber), a descendant of Sham (Shem), a descendant of Nuach (Noah). The Abry Shamitic people spoke a particular language. This language is commonly called Hebrew but has a name all its own.
Therefore, we pursue to know the Creator according to the agreement - the Covenant - made with His people. We pursue to gain an understanding of the ancient historical texts in their original language, and we pursue to live a life of peace and set-apartness unto
Yahuah.
"Let us hear the whole conclusion of the matter, fear Yah and keep His commandments. For this is the duty of all mankind." Ecclesiastes 12:13
The morning and evening offerings are to be presented before the Creator every morning and every evening, at sunrise and at sunset. The offering Yahuah calls for us to bring Him is a life without sin. The additional gifts we bring Yahuah during the morning and evening offerings are our prayers, praise, and submission. There is also the prayer offered at solar noon (highest point of the sun during the day). Dany'al was dedicated to offering himself and his prayers to Yahuah during this time. This is also mentioned by one of the psalmists in Tahalym 55:17. - B'mydbar (Numbers) 28:1 & 4, Tahalym (Psalms) 5:3
The Shabbat is a weekly celebration and a time for Yahuah's people to rest, gather, worship, and celebrate. It is a day when we cease from our daily activities and spend the day with Yahuah and the set-apart ones. The Shabbat is also a covenant, an agreement, the Creator has made with His people and with the earth. - Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 5:14; Wayaqra (Leviticus) 23:3; YashaYah (Isaiah) 58:13-14; Yahazqal (Ezekiel) 20:12
The Creator has instructed us to appear before Him on the first day of each month. It is a day of celebration for a new cycle and a gathering for the set-apart believers. On this day we are to present ourselves as a pure and sinless offering, renew our commitment to Yahuah, and praise Him for all His goodness. - B'mydbar (Numbers) 10:10, Yahazqal (Ezekiel) 46:1, YashaYah (Isaiah) 66:23
Pasach celebrates the division the separation Yahuah made. On this day Yahuah separated His children from the children of Mitsrayim. It is a day of division, the children of Light from the children of darkness, the day of separating ourselves from the world of darkness and consecrating ourselves as a nation to Yahuah as we begin a new year. - B'mydbar (Numbers) 9:2, Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 16:1, Yahazqal (Ezekiel) 45:21
This festival commemorates the deliverance of Yasharal from Mitsrayim, Yasharal's exit from bondage. This is an event that is remembered for it provides a picture of Yahuah's great love for His people and that He is mighty to save His own. - Shamuth (Exodus) 12 & 13
The summer festival is when Yasharal brings forth their firstfruits to Yahuah. - Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 16:10; Shamuth (Exodus) 23:16, 34:22; B'mydbar (Numbers) 28:26
The first day of the seventh month is a Shabbat and a memorial of soundings from Yahuah's people and from the heavens. This day recalls the deliverance of Yasharal from Mitsrayim. We lift our voices as shofars, trumpets, and declare His might. - Wayaqra (Leviticus) 23:24-25; B'mydbar (Numbers) 29:1; NahamYah (Nehemiah) 8:2-6
This celebration also relates to the deliverance of Yasharal. - Shamuth (Exodus) 23:16, 34:22; Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 16:16
"Thus said Yahuah, 'Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves...'" YaramaYah (Jeremiah) 6:16.
Yahuah is one in mind and in purpose. Yahuah does not change. He is the same yesterday, today and will be the same in the future. Humankind changes and due to the straying away from the Creator's ways, humanity attempts to alter and shape the Creator according to their thinking and in their likeness. However, Yahuah is not subject to the whims and instability of humanity. Yahuah was, Yahuah is and Yahuah will return to His people in the same manner as when He first established them.
Yahuah's purpose is one and when His people unite with His purpose and come in agreement with His mind we can then be one with Him.
"Fear Alahym and guard His commands, for this applies to all mankind. For Alahym will bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil," Q'halath (Ecclesiastes) 12:13-14.
We will never know Yah if we do not fear Him. This fear is a reverential honor that we should have for Him based on His position, character, and esteem. Yahuah is Alahym and there is none that stands or sits next to Him.
Tahalym (Psalm) 111:10 states it perfectly: "The fear of Yahuah is the beginning of wisdom, a good understanding have all they that do His commandments..."
We are to obey Yahuah's instructions (commandments). Yah's instructions exist to give us life and liberty. It is what allows us to be in proper relationship with Him. Keeping the Creator's instructions is our righteousness, outside of them we will not be righteous. "And Yahuah commanded us to do all these laws, to fear Yahuah our Alahym, for our good always, to keep us alive, as it is today. And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this command before Yahuah our Alahym, as He has commanded us." Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 6:24-25.
The Creator's instructions are written in the Agreement made with His people. Additionally, Yahuah gives us instructions through His Set-Apart Spirit and messengers.
Guarding the Ten Words or ten commandments, as they are commonly referred to, is fundamental. Guarding the Ten Words is a launching pad for learning and receiving additional instructions written in the Covenant and communicated by Yah's Spirit.
See Shamuth (Exodus) chapter 20 and Dabarym (Deuteronomy) chapter 5.
"And Yahuah spoke to Mashah, saying, 'Speak to all the congregation of the children of Yasharal, and say to them, Be set-apart, for I Yahuah your Alahym am set-apart.'" Wayaqra (Leviticus) 19:1-2.
Yahuah's people are to live a life that is separate from sin and the standard of the world's system. Of course we live in this world but we are not to adopt its unrighteous practices and belief system. This also means we do not worship their mighty ones, celebrate their holidays, or embrace that which is unclean. Yahuah has called for His people to be set-apart, q'dash, and live a life that reflects His total character and will.
Wow! Have you ever wanted to experience the Creator in away that you are totally convinced of His love, ability, and strength? Well, you can. You can know how great His love is, how capable He is, and how real He is. Yah desires to be known by His people and His eyes search the entire earth looking for those to whom He can show Himself strong. - D'bra ha Yamym Bayt (2nd Chronicles) 16:9.
A life of prayer and fasting is the key. The discipline of prayer and fasting will enable the strength of Yahuah to rise in us. Our prayers, when coming from a clean heart, touch the heart of Yah and cause Him to move on our behalf. Fasting allows us to break off the works of the flesh and every weight that hinders the flow of Yah's spirit and word from working in our lives. Fasting is the way to conquer self, sin, and the works of the enemy. It is an excellent way to purify ourselves spiritually and help heal ourselves physically. Currently, our congregational fast day is on the Gregorian Calendar day of Tuesday.
Yahuah wants us to seek Him with clean hands and a pure heart. Commit to righteous prayers and fastings, and watch Yahuah work in you, through you, and for you!
